UPDATE: NBCRNA'S CONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

The NBCRNA has now posted two additional documents on the NBCRNA website www.nbcrna.com:

1. NBCRNA CPC Program Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
2. The document detailing the proposed CPC Program titled “National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists: Continuing Competence for Nurse Anesthetists.”

You may click the link to the documents from the NBCRNA homepage or click on the Recertification tab.

NBCRNA will hold a Public Comment Period from September 6, 2011 through November 14, 2011. During this public comment period individuals will be able to give feedback and complete a survey at www.nbcrnacpc.com.

Any concerned individual may direct questions about the program any time at recertification@nbcrna.com.

The ALANA Board of Directors is always available to discuss this or any other issue that affects Alabama CRNAs, and we encourage you to take part in the survey and send your comments to the NBCRNA during the comment period.
