COVID-19 Update

Dear ALANA members,

The ALANA BOD takes the safety and well being of our members, the patients we take care of and our community very seriously.  It is with this in mind, along with the recommendations of the CDC, that we have decided to
cancel the Spring Meeting in Destin scheduled for April 24-26, 2020.  This was not an easy decision to make but a necessary one to join in our nation’s collective efforts to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

We know that many CRNAs are due to renew their licenses by July 31 and were relying on the 22 CEUs they were expected to obtain at the spring meeting.  We would like to maintain our commitment to provide you with these CEUs.  We are currently working on an online version of the meeting that will provide the Class A credits required for renewal.  Your Professional Development Chairs are working around the clock and we will update everyone as soon as this option is available.  We thank you for your patience and understanding as we go forward with this process.  As always, your ALANA BOD will continue to diligently serve in the best interest of our patients, colleagues and community.  Our hearts go out to all those affected by the COVID-19 virus and we hope that these difficult measures will be effective in reducing the course of this unexpected virus that has threatened our nation and the world. Please know we are here for any questions or concerns you may have.
