Welcome Prospective Students!

Hopefully you are viewing this page because you are interested in knowing more about a career in nurse anesthesia. You have come to the right place! Below are some FAQ's about a career as a CRNA.

Should you have further questions, please contact the ALANA Office.

Do I need any special equipment?

No, not really. As long as I can see and hear you clearly, you don't need any special equipment.

All that I ask is that you have a working camera and some headphones are all that you need. Your computer will probably have a built-in microphone, if not you can pick up a headset with a microphone, or even just a stand-alone microphone for very cheap these days.

The lessons will work better on a PC or Laptop but are still accessible via tablet or smartphone.

Do I have to install anything?

You'll need two programs, Zoom and Adobe.

You'll be prompted to download Zoom the first time we begin a lesson and you can install Adobe PDF reader here if you don't already have it.
You don't have to download Zoom at all if you don't want to, we will still be able to use the service but the features will be limited so I recommend that for the best experience you please install the program.

How do I reschedule a lesson?

Check your email booking confirmation, there is an option to reschedule and cancel a lesson at the bottom of the email if required.
